I took my truck here a few years back as I was having some misfires and check engine light came on. They ran diagnostic and told me that one lifter was bad and recommended replacing them all. After replacing all the lifters, 1 year later, started having simular issues and check engine light came on again. Took it in and they told me I needed a new engine. Replaced the entire engine (including the new lifters I just replaced). Less than one year later and only 8k miles put on the new engine, I had some notifications come on for my airbag, traction control and 4WD needing to be serviced. So I took it down to Elk Grove chevy again. They notified me that my left motor mount that is supporting my brand new engine was broken and recommended replacing the right one as well. So I did. Now I am 15k in on just the engine when they could have just replaced the entire engine and motor mounts the first time for 6k. Feel pretty ripped off. There is a warranty on the engine, but somehow they said the motor mounts that support the engine arent covered on the engine. Weird because they were the last ones who touched them and could have suggested to replace them while they had my entire engine already pulled out for a sliver of the cost they charged me this time to replace them. I am not very happy with the customer service and will no longer be taking my truck here. They failed me by not recommending replacing the motor in the first place and cost me 9k extra with no discount for the bad non recommendations.
