Amazing customer service. I've been trying to buy a newer used car for two months. All the dealerships are shady, dishonest, and in it for the money. But I didn't get that experience from Hertz. Marc was on site before operating hours, so when I called at 8:55 asking about a specific car, he answered. He was kind and even went outside to make sure it was on the lot. Unfortunately, we didn't like it as much as we thought and asked for another model but they didn't have any at the moment. No worries, when we come back in a few months for a second car, we're coming to hertz. We came for this car because we wanted a Hyundai that we found online at echo park. When we went to echo park we did an entire three hour process just for them to tell us it was sold on its way to us? Made no sense. Then they sold us a similar car but different model that was older and had more miles for the same price. I felt uneasy so I looked up the vin and found it at Hertz and called the next day. Like I said the experience was much better at hertz. I would've returned the car we purchased at echo park and purchased from hertz directly instead if they had a similar model. We will be back. Just go here. Save yourself the hassle and time. These are the lowest prices in Sacramento.

There are a million words that I could write down but I'd have to start by highlighting the exceptional customer service here. During my looking process, I went to multiple Hertz Car Sales locations and test drove a few cars but this staff really did everything in their power. Adriana and Ron both met my excitement with buying a new car just as much as they met my need for satisfaction with my purchase. After walking around cars and asking about year, milage, price, how long each car has been on the lot, trim and compating make mode and beyond -- I was met with knowledge, experience and patience. Sometimes it feels as though its hard to find good customer service but coming to Hertz on the 3 trips that I made - - Adriana and Curtis went over and beyond. I intentionally went and avoided them while being met with great service and given space when I needed it. After buying my car Ron and Adrianna helped me get my license plates in a timely manner when there was a discrepancy that happened to be completely out of their hands and on the side of the DMV. Adriana made calls and got it done within 2 weeks. The last thing that I can say is their finance/sales Curtiss Breeze explained everything that I could add to my package, ways to utilize my credit in buying and thw options that Hertz provided. He was so knowledgeable and made me feel happy to commit to a new loan despite coming in with a pre-approval letter from my bank. Thank you guys for your assistance Ron, Curtiss and Adrianna!

This is the second time I've purchased from Hertz car sales. Process was relatively easy especially since we were in a hurry. But be vigilant especially when purchasing through the rent to buy program. Check auto body thoroughly. I missed a small dent in the tail gate which was not disclosed. Confirm whether they have one or two keys for the vehicle before you purchase. Don't assume two like I did. Inspect interior - ours did not have floor mats. The key and the Hyundai floor mats will cost me about $600 total. Finally, if it is an out of state car, confirm the smog check status. Hertz mistakenly sold the car with Illinois plates to me without doing the smog check first. They just called me about 2 weeks after I purchased the car to get it smogged which they did pay for. Don't know if I will purchase from them again. They need to up their game. I requested some form of compensation but they refused.

Bought a 2024 Malibu from Todd at Hertz Roseville. Todd was very patient and knowledgeable about features across the various cars they had to offer. The entire process was simple and Todd delivered everything he promised. we are very satisfied with the car and were especially happy working with Todd.

Very happy with Bill at hertz car sales,when shopping for a car we test drove numerous different brand and styles of cars and went back three different days to do this, Bill is very professional at his job and truly is a very nice man. Every time you test drive a car he needs to go inside and unlock the key box,check out the key and document that he has the key, he must have done this more than 10 times for us and we know it's a hassle to do this process but Bill always had a smile on his face while doing so (sorry Bill)they have very nice cars at this location and we recommend giving them a try when looking for a car, all cars have low miles and are all in great shape so please have Bill help you find a car,you won't regret it. Unprofessional. Curtis is the most incompetent person I know and as rude and Unprofessional as can be. He denied to help and wouldn't return my phone calls and hung up everytime I actually got him on the phone. Plus his breathe is unbearable. EXTREMELY AGAINST USUNG THESE.

We came with baby needing a family car. Our experience was salesman Mr. Higel handed us the key and promptly left us. My husband had to pull up the car & check it out. We received no assistance or knowledge. Mr. Higel seems to be an order taker waiting in office for us to buy. The car had original price increased by $2,900 in 3 days, and they were unable to honor the price because prices are determined by the corporate office and are non-negotiable. I found it contradictory after reading a review from a previous customer 1 month ago, the price of their preferred vehicle was increased by $1,000, yet Hertz maintained the original lower price for them. We were unable to secure any discount, not even a modest $10 reduction. Anyway, our total purchased was nearly $38,000 includes tax and etc. We obtained a Car Care Plan contract but it was misrepresented so we cancelled. Hertz sold us a car without a front license plate bracket and request it mailed. Toktam from Titan Auto unexpectedly contacted me to bring my car in to install bracket. The staff was unprepared and no bracket upon arrival! An hour later Titan Auto provided an after-market bracket. I was expecting a high-quality OEM front license bracket that would complement my car's design, particularly given the unique curvature of the front bumper. It is disappointing that Hertz would provide such an inferior product, especially considering the substantial investment buying the car. The Titan Auto lady told us go back to hertz with an attitude. We revisited Hertz, my husband notified a salesperson and was told a salesperson named [name forgotten] would be with him soon. Then, unannounced, salesperson Paul Delman told my husband, 'There's no point standing waiting here; the parts dept is closed and no one will assist you.' & walked away. My husband said, 'So what, you going to walk away and not get down my info so someone can contact me?' Paul replied, 'you got your answer' and walked off. A bald manager name Chris, said give a minute and would return shortly. He never came back. My husband can see him in the glass window doing nothing. My husband knocked on door address the bracket. Chris rudely says 'if the bracket cost $500, I'm not going to pay it'. He also mentioned that he would call the parts dept. on Mon or Tue ONLY if he was avail. We were treated poorly. We made a call at a dealer and bracket only costs $41. (FYI haven't heard back Mon/tues) It seems like the manager displayed a lack of respect towards us, and we felt that he did not value our business. He was willing to loose our business as he mention we could return the car and complete the paperwork promptly. Given that we had a toddler and a baby in the car, we were short on time and left. Our whole encounter with Hertz was unsatisfactory, with poor customer service being a major issue. It appears that many other customers have had similar issues, as evidenced by the numerous negative reviews. It's unfortunate that the company doesn't seem to value its customers' feedback and fairness. I recommend that potential customers look elsewhere for their car needs. I know we will receive a general response on my review that everyone had "sorry to hear and we will pass concerns to local management for review".
